THE CLOUDS I CAN HANDLE. BUT...
“It will be as I never existed.” I cringed, unable to move. “Goodbye Bella.”
Bella woke with a start, her heart beating fast. Was it real? Had he really left again? Was she back in her own personal hell? But cold, marble arms wound tightly around her, reminding her that the nightmare she had just woke up from was in her past. He was there, with her now. That was all that mattered, wasn’t it? But what of Jacob? Her sun. The one who put her back together when she had broken into pieces. It was a good thing Edward was unable to read her mind. She never wanted to hurt him, ever, but apart of her secretly earned to held by another person. Would she ever be able to tell them both the truth? Would she ever really be able to choose?
It was April in Forks Washington, only a short two months away from graduation. The Cullen’s were back in Forks, everything was back to normal, back to the way things were before the family’s abrupt leave of absence last September. Well, almost everything. Jacob Black was in Bella’s life now. And he had a secret of his own, one she had sworn to protect. He was a werewolf. Sworn enemies of vampires, of the Cullen’s. Bella Swan knew what it was like being ripped apart just as she had been pieced back together. But what could she do?
The news of murders sweeping across Seattle was unnerving, “Vampires, newly born.” Edwards had said, and the vague appearances of Victoria, a blood thirsty vampire who had sworn to avenge her mate, James, by killing Bella, no doubt trying to get away into Fork’s to accomplish her plans. And with all the newly formed vampires, the population of werewolves where growing in numbers as well. What was going to happen? Would things work themselves out? Would they catch Victoria before she was successful in her plans? And what were they going to do with the growing infestation of newly born vampires?
