I've been hoping that my schedule would lighten, which would allow me to return and get back into full swing. That however, is simply not the case.
We've had one of our managers at work quit, and another get fired. I'm the most qualified to help fill in their spots, and thus i'm taking on somewhat of a supervisory role at work. That, combined with the fact that I already work nearly 40 hours a week doesn't make for me having much time.
And that's just the tip of the iceberg. Alot of family issues and monetary issues are hitting the fan as well (we were without power for a good few hours today due to not having the bill paid), and writing in and of itself is just too much at the moment.
Were I an original character I would ride it out, and make an attempt to return when my issues were resolved. I however, am playing a highly important canon, and thus don't feel that is either responsible or practical to do.
Therefore I am resigning my claim on the character, leaving him open to someone with the time to put into him. I can still be contacted as per the norm via my messengers, although I am rarely on nowadays, due to the excessive workload.
