Radioactive Spiders and Kryptonite
I think I forgot to breathe
FULL NAME:Leah Clearwater NICKNAMES: Lee-Lee AGE: Nineteen BIRTHDAY: august seventeenth SEXUALITY: straight JOB: N/A SPECIES: shape- shifter CANON: si.
I’m nothing but a human, after all. Nothing special.
GENERAL APPEARANCE: Leah is described as beautiful, long black hair; smooth and glistening, and copper skin. Eyelashes like feather dusters, and her eyes holding all the emotions she lets no one know about except for her pack, a dark brown, almost black. She is shorter than the guys in her wolf pack, at 5'11, and as a wolf her size is even more noticeable.
Her skin has always been favorable to her, especially as a teen and going through puberty. It's always been to her a perfect tan and almost flawless.
Her body, although she has always been in shape, has more tone to it, from her transformation. Since her change, her body has been frozen and doesn't change like a normal nineteen year old should be changing. Her menstrual cycle has stopped, and she is no longer able to carry children.
As a wolf, her fur is thick, and grey, with darker and lighter patches scattered over her body. Her eyes are the same, though slightly lighter. Her muzzle, looks as if it were dipped in white paint, blending into the grey around her eyes and throat. Her frame is smaller than the other shape-shifters, to the point that her brother is larger than her.
MOST LIKED FEATURE: Her skin and hair, it's just something about being a girl. MOST HATED FEATURE: Her eyes and muscles; to her her eyes make her look emotionless, and her toned body makes her feel too much like a guy HERITAGE: Quileute || American ETHNICITY: Quileute || American
You’re not the only vampire I know.
GENERAL PERSONALITY: Leah is a bitter, heartbroken girl. Angry at most things, and a very strong grudge holder. Quick tempered, and unforgiving. Yet, she has a loyal side, and protective of her younger brother. Being the only female wolf has damaged her on top of her heart never fully recovering from Sam. She makes it her job when mentally connected to the pack to torture them with her thoughts, and vents her pain whenever possible to almost punish Sam and the rest of her pack brothers.
Before she transformed, and before Sam Uley imprinted on her cousin, Leah was sweet, and in love. She's always had a loyal side to her, much to her dislike. She had a playfulness about her, which sometimes slips through her bitter walls and makes an appearance. Slow to make friends, she would rather be alone, but being part of the pack won't let her do that. She avoids shifting as much as possible, and makes sure to let the other shape-shifters know of her dislike when she finally does. Even though she makes it seem like she hates Sam, she just wants him to be happy, and is somewhat glad that he imprinted.
She resents being a shape-shifter mostly because of the effects it has on her body. How it froze her body, and the muscles that take away from her femininity.
Leah has a strong distaste for vampires, and openly voices it around her pack brothers when in wolf-form. She can be viewed as the whiny little sister of the pack, which annoys her. She also idolizes her younger brother, and often wishes she could be more like him.
Deep down inside, she has a love for her pack brothers, and would do anything for them. But the hurt and anger is deep enough to keep that hidden. At times she enjoys being part of the pack, and feeling like she belongs somewhere.
HOBBIES: Painting, it's an escape for her. Running, she was active before her transformation. DISLIKES: Being hurt Being a shape-shifter Vampires Her loyal side Being linked to Sam Uley LIKES: The beach Music Her brother Open spaces Animals Feeling like she belongs FEARS: Not being able to imprint, being alone forever, her brother dying, any of her pack mates dying-not that she'll admit to this- SECRETS: Is happy for Sam, and just wants him to be happy. Would do anything for her pack. Fears that because of being a shape-shifter she'll never be able to have a family. Admires her cousin for her strength and understanding.
We can’t all be freakishly strong.
GENERAL HISTORY: Leah had led a normal life until her freshman year. She had heard the stories and legends of her ancestors, but never believed them. She was an active child, always doing something, going somewhere. In school she thrived until high school, when her mind became preoccupied with things other than school work.
When she started dating Sam Uley, life for Leah seemed pretty good. Although her schooling started to drop, the other aspects of her life were on and indefinite up. That was, until Sam disappeared. Worried to the core, for two weeks she had no idea where he was. It was when she realized she actually loved him. When he returned, her worry receded, but never fully disappeared, especially when he wouldn't explain his absence. But she stayed by him, not asking many questions because she knew he wouldn't answer.
One could say Leah 'died' when Sam imprinted on Emily. It broke her heart and for a while, she almost hated both of them. But no matter how she tried, she couldn't. Hurt beyond belief, she could do nothing but sit back and watch Sam and Emily together.
When she transformed, right around the same time as her brother, Seth, the news of them being shape-shifters causes her fathers heart attack, and death. The knowledge that it was her fault for her father's death weighed heavily on her shoulders for awhile, and at times still causes her pain. But, not as much pain as being mentally linked with Sam.
Being a werewolf...or shape-shifter, was really what brought out her anger and bitterness. What she had been able to hide inside for so long was now known by all her pack brothers. FAMILY: * Harry Clearwater (father-deceased) * Sue Clearwater (mother) * Seth Clearwater (brother) * Emily Young (second cousin)
Stupid, thieving, annoying vampire!
ROLEPLAY SAMPLE:
Taken from an Ancient Roman site. ^.^ It was after the funeral of the Great General Flavius Alexander and Livia had held herself together quite well through it all. She had slipped away early, while most were still in attendance paying their respects to the dead general, to the Temple of Jupiter. She had never been well at expressing her feelings, but when she was in the temple, safe away from the eyes of Rome, she succumbed to her emotions and crumbled. Her brother's Empire, her home, the land she loved, was no longer her perfect utopia. Her friend Atticus Metullus, a solider for Rome, had died, inside Rome's walls serving Rome. The General, though not close to Livia, was still an emotional loss for her.
Although she didn't seem interested in politics or what was going on with the Empire, Livia still cared for Rome and it's Empire. To her it seemed if everything was happening at once; the Greek rebellions, riots within the city, a grain shortage, and as much as she hated to admit it, it seemed as if her brother was doing nothing. Crumbling to the floor of the temple, in front of the statue of Jupiter, Livia thought back to the speech made at the funeral, given by Senator Lucius Scipio, and how soon he would be fighting for Rome in Dacia and Greece.
The princess of Rome was about to do something very uncivil-like. As a few tears spilled over her lower eyelids, she became angry; at her brother, at Lucius, at Rome, at the Gods, at herself, at everything. Rising to her feet she slashed out against the statue, her small hands beating against the stone before she sank to the ground once more, tears streaming down her cheeks now. Her world seemed to be spinning out of control, and there was nothing she could do to stop it. The gods were no help, her brother was no help.
Livia may have been overreacting, Rome was strong, she would survive. Every empire went through it's struggles, Rome had had plenty. She knew that deep in herself some where, Rome would survive, it was just all hitting her at once. Perhaps the thing that was bothering her the most was Atticus' death, and Lucius' soon departure. The solider had died inside the city walls, a place that was supposed to be safe, and yet, Lucius was leaving for Dacia, right into war instead of a riot. All her fears and worries had doubled, and since hearing of Metullus' death, she had found sleep hard to achieve with her mind always thinking about what would happen in Dacia.
It didn't help that she was falling hard and fast for the senator, nor did her mother help the situation, either. Brushing away the tears that had stained her cheeks, Livia tried to calm herself, fearing someone would find her in such a vulnerable state. If her brother was only the man she remembered from a few years ago, before he became Emperor, if only he was there to comfort her. If only Livia could snap her fingers and have everything return to normal, have ever battle, war, riot, fight settled, have her perfect utopia. If only...
Her "if only's" went on for quite some time, Livia listing everything that had gone wrong, and if only they had gone right. She had curled her knees to her chest, laying her head atop her knees, silent tears still falling as she wished to forget everything that was happening. She laughed to herself at the thought of General Flavius Alexander with the gods. The gods, if the gods were so great, why were they destroying her world. Over exaggerating a bit, Livia still blamed most of what had happened on the gods, and at one point she even questioned if the gods were truly there, Pushing all those thoughts away, Livia just sat there, trying her best to stop the tears that refused to quit.
You… bit a pillow? Why?
