"When I look into his eyes, it seems all the problems in the world go away and I'm floating in mid-air."
Bella had no idea what she was doing out here in the forest all alone. She must be stupid, though all she really wanted to do was take a walk and then she realized that she was lost. “stupid think to do Bella.” she muttered to herself. She was not sure what she was going to do now. This forest was huge and to be lost here was bad, it consisted of vampires and other creatures that would not be good to be caught by. She sighed as she made her way through the forest, by now her feet hurt really badly and she was beginning to wish that she would of just stayed put in her house that way she wouldn’t be here now fearing for her life. Although it had felt like she was walking though the forest for hours on end in reality it had only been about an hour and she had a feeling that she was going to meet someone here. That was not a good feeling. Because she felt that this someone was going to be bad. Very bad for her. She sighed as she sat down on a log. She just had to get out of this alive. If now then Edward would kill her Alice would to. As her thoughts turned to Alice she smiled, that’s how she would get out of this.. Alice would see her ‘future’ and then Eddie would come get her that’s all there was too it. Now all she really had to do was wait and make sure nothing bad happened to her in the mean time.
Though for nothing to happen to her she had to be here along and she had become aware that she was not alone, not at all. Something was lurking near by and she had a feeling that she would not like it at all. Perhaps if she stayed still enough the thing, what ever it was, would just walk away and leave her alone. But as they say Bella had no luck what so ever, because what ever it was, was getting closer and she couldn’t help but moan. This was bad, very bad. She hadn’t had to wait long either. Before she knew it the thing, or rather person was walking into the clearing that she was sitting in and in a instant she knew that this was a vampire. Not just any vampire either. This was a vampire who prayed on humans and not the veggie vamps like the Cullens. Though maybe this time would be different, maybe he wouldn’t try to kill her. Hell what was she thinking he would try to kill her.
If there was one thing that hanging out with the cullens had taught her it was that you cant show fear to these people. In doing so you would create an even more hazardous situation. So it was a very scared Bella, not showing fear of course, that stood up and faced the vampire. She had nothing to use as a weapon so she hoped that talking him out of it she could escape that way. Though only time would tell. She wanted of him to say something or launch at her.

Ben had no idea why he had chosen today to go for a stroll on this particular day, nor why he went in the woods, nor why he walked through this particular spot. He just felt the odd compulsion. He hadn't had many compulsions lately. Well, except for the regular compulsion to rip out humans throats and drink their blood till they were a withered husk, but that wasn't an odd compulsion by vampire standards. Really normal actually. By the way, I'd like to suck you into a lifeless husk. Idly Ben wondered how that line would go on a date. Because really, that was just one of those things that should be gotten out of the way on the first date. That and the whole being immortal thing. That could pose some challenges.
Rolling his neck out of habit as he stepped out of the way of a falling twig, Ben's train of thought continued to barrel on, all the way until he ran into a tree. He probably would have continued walking if he hadn't heard the large crunch accompanying his making an imprint in a tree that was probably decades old. "Ouch." Ben muttered, not for himself but for the tree.
Inhaling deeply, Ben's head snapped up, his eyes opening wide and his nose flaring as he was assaulted by the scent of a human. A particularly tasty smelling human at that. Ben found himself sprinting forward, before the logical part of his brain took control over the instinctual part. Slowing to a stop about two hundred yards from where he started running, he began mulling over the possibilities that he had been presented.
On the one hand, he could go kill her right now. But that was not nearly as fun, and he wasn't all that hungry. He had just recently fed in truth. The second option would be too scare her senseless and possibly let her live. There was really no contest; Ben had picked the second chose as soon as he had thought it up. He began walking forward, making sure to make a nice, relaxed pace, nothing to make the human think anything was amiss. Inhaling and once again being assaulted by the scent, Ben judged whoever was emitting the smell was nearby.
After taking what felt like an eternity to cross the separating space, Ben finally broke into the clearing. He eyed the person who had drawn him here. Average height, brown hair and eyes, plain features. Ben instantly had her pegged as one of those people who you forgot about even while you were looking at them. Smiling as wickedly as he could manage, Ben attempted to put as much bone chilling terror into his next word as he could possibly manage. "Boo." It sounded awfully lame and even humorous to him, but it would hopefully have the desired effect of inflicting terror induced tremors on the girl.

"When I look into his eyes, it seems all the problems in the world go away and I'm floating in mid-air."
Bella for all her ‘humanness’ knew that he was a vampire the second that he walked into the clearing. Though she was scared she hung around enough vampires to tell when they were going to ‘feed’ or ‘bite’ and this one that stalked into the clearing just didn’t feel right, weather it was because he was not going to feed or what she didn’t know. Though when he said ‘boo’ she did jump.. But only because Bella was a rather nervous person and especially since Edward was no where to be seen. She wasn’t stupid enough to believe that she would get out of this unscratched because lets face it. Bella was a magnet for unwanted attention. First Jane and now this unknown vampire. Edward really was going to be pissed at her.
She knew better then to stay and talk but she also knew that this vampire could out run her by a lot and even if she tried she would probably end up in her face ever further lost into the forest. All she could really do was sit and stair at the vampire. He did achieve what he wanted to she was shaking pretty badly by now. Though she was determined not to scream or do anything to let him know she as scared, other then the shaking. “W-what do you want?” she asked, she needed to keep him talking. Maybe he would ‘forget’ her being a human if she did. Not that she put much stock into that though it was worth a try.
She sighed as she looked up at him. Her only comfort was that if he had a ‘power’ that could hurt her it most likely wouldn’t. It seemed like when ever vampires tried to use them on her they failed. She glanced up at him again trying to make conversation. Maybe if she acted like she didn’t know he was a vampire then he would hurt her. “What’s your name?” she asked. Still trying to distract him. If only long enough for Alice to see something and for Edward to come and rescue her. She could only hope anyway.
This is just the kind of thing Edward said she was going to get herself into. He was not going to be happy with her if she got herself killed. Though now she could only wait.. Sighing she looked up at him and into his red eyes waiting. Waiting for the worst or for what ever fate she was going to have.

Ben felt the corners of his mouth start to inch up, as he looked at the human girl shaking and failing dismally to try and hide her fear. After a few moments of unsuccessful battle with his boundless mirth, he finally gave in. His mouth split into a huge smile and he began laughing uproariously, frightening the few birds that had been brave enough to cower in the nearby trees into a panic flight. He continued laughing for a couple minutes, eventually subsiding into uncontrolled chuckling. "People call me Ben. You may too." He cut off another wave of chuckles. "Would you mind telling me what yours is? Otherwise I will be forced to refer to you as "the girl."" Or dinner, Ben added silently to himself. The girls appetizing scent hadn't diminished any.
He strolled casually up to her, plopping loudly onto the ground when he was about two feet in front of her, and crossing his legs. He cocked his head to the side, looking up at her. "You really shouldn't wander around in the forest. I'd imagine you smell appetizing to any number of predators here." Such as myself, Ben added to himself with a wry mental grin. "You could be attacked by a mutant robin. I hear they are becoming quite common." Ben grinned at his imaginative little scenario. The thought of a giant robin swooping down and picking up the human girl was hilarious. Even funnier was the idea of him wrestling the bird to the ground to save the girl. It was odd, he felt oddly drawn to be here. Idly he wondered if this was how a nail felt when it was caught in a magnetic field.

"When I look into his eyes, it seems all the problems in the world go away and I'm floating in mid-air."
He was laughing at her. Actually laughing at her.. All she could do was stair at him. Because she hadn’t been expecting that. Really she had been expecting a fight.. Bloodshed but laughing? She looked at him like he was crazy.. Never in her life had she met a vampire like him. Ok she had but he was not a veggie vamp. The red eyes gave him away. And to be sitting her laughing and joking that was not something that she counted on though she welcomed it very much. Because then she wouldn’t die and Edward wouldn’t have to worry. She could only look at him in wonder not registering his question until she was sure it had been at least five minuets. “Bella.” she said, still a bit shaken up by the whole experience.
“I have my ways.” she said, in response to his comment. “People who ‘look’ after me.” she said, not saying that she was lost. She wouldn’t admit that to anyone. Not even Edward. All she could do was raise her eye brows at his next comment. “Mutant robin.” she said, cracking a bit of a smile. “That’s the first I heard of that.” she said, going along with the joke. “I will keep my eyes open” She still wasn’t to sure about this guy. He was after all a vampire who was holding himself pretty nicely. She figured he should be entranced by her blood but she was not complaining she rather liked her blood. As long as it stayed inside and she didn’t have to smell it.
She sighed then, Turing a weary eye on him. Did he expect her to just have a nice little conversation with im and not feel like he was going to attack her. She didn’t know. But then again what did she know now a days. She didn’t know what to expect with him and sat back she really was in for a long ride.

Ben laughed at Bella's "people who look after me" sentence. "Don't tell me. You're really a spy for the government, and at this very moment there are satellites scanning every inch of the Earth to find your location, because you're the best they've ever had. Or because you know some deep, dark secret. And at any minute now there will be secret agents descending down upon us and using secret technology to wipe my memory of this entire event." Ben's imagination was on a serious sugar rush at the moment. Not literally, of course.
He scowled when Bella sighed. "Am I boring you? Do you have some secret mission going on that I am interrupting?" To his surprise, Ben had stopped thinking of Bella as food. He even felt a pang of what might be regret at the thought of killing her. Oddly enough, he found he actually liked this girl. How very, very odd, he thought wryly to himself. He didn't know what it was that made him change his mind. Perhaps it was the magnetic like pull she seemed to admit.
He leaned back, trying to study her discreetly. After a few moments, Ben drew the inevitable conclusion that it wasn't anything physical that attracted him to Bellal like iron to a magnet. There was simply nothing remarkable about her. Except for her scent of course. Idly Ben wondered what could cause humans blood to smell so distinct. There couldn't be anything different about her blood then any other of thousands of humans with the same blood as hers'. It must be something else. He was almost unable to stop himself from asking her how she had managed to stay alive for so long. Any vampire who smelled her blood would want it sliding down their throat, extinguishing the burning, satiating the thirst, savoring the taste. Ben could feel the increased flow of venom in his mouth as he thought of these things.

"When I look into his eyes, it seems all the problems in the world go away and I'm floating in mid-air." She sighed. He wasn’t taking her seriously. Though a lot of people normally and she wondered why he was not killing her yet. She shrugged and listened into what he had to say. “No not secret organization per sea.” she muttered. Though he was already a vampire and new all about them. He didn’t know that she knew about vampires though. “Just my friends who are looking for me; probably right now.” she said, looking up at him. She wasn’t going to tell him about Edward, he would find out about him soon enough. She would enjoy talking to Ben for right now.
“No, I always sigh.” she said, smiling up at him to show that she was not bored. She honestly couldn’t tell you why she was staying and talking to this vampire, he was obviously not a veggie vamp, as the Cullen’s called themselves. He was one of those ones that fed off of humans. You could tell that by his eye color, it was the color of the deepest red she had ever seen. “Why haven’t you killed me yet?” she asked, looking at him. “Not that I’m not grateful or anything, but I’m only just wondering.” she realized that she had said that rather bluntly and blushed looking away.
She realized that he was watching her discreetly, she could feel it but she let him, knowing that if he wanted to hurt her then he would and she wouldn’t be able to do anything about it really. She ideally wondered what he was thinking about so seriously while he watched her, of course it couldn’t be anything like he liked her. He was a bloodsucker, she smiled as she said that. She thought of Jacob right away. Of curse she never would say that term out loud because it would most likely offend the cullens. Probably not so much the other vampires but she would still refrain from saying.

Ben felt his jaw drop and his eyes widen as Bella asked why he had not killed her yet. he rapidly regained his composure. " Why on Earth would I kill you? I'm not a cannibal. Or someone who just randomly kills strange girls he meets in the woods." Well, the later wasn't entirely truthful. After all, that was what he had been thinking when he first smelled Bella, and the thought had still lurked in the back of his mind. He tried to think of why this human girl would think he would kill her. And so surely too. Surely she wasn't that bleak? No matter what he thought, he always came back to the single, inevitable conclusion.
"You know, don't you? What I am, I mean." How could she though? Humans weren't supposed to be aware of the existence of vampires. Ben stood, to rapidly for it to be considered human. "How do you know? Humans aren't supposed to!" Ben ran through his options, and a wicked smile crept onto his face. He took the couple steps necessary to close the space between them. He opened his mouth, and leaned down as if he was going to bite her neck.
He let his teeth barely touch her skin before stopping. He waited a few seconds, before he couldn't control himself any longer. He fell backward, landing with a loud plop, and began rolling with uncontrolled laughter. Hopefully Bella would have the reaction he wanted. Fear, terror, then confusion. It didn't matter if she did or not though. Ben found it hilarious anyway.

She couldn’t exactly tell him how she knew he was a vampire the voltrie had already warned her about that and their solution was to turn her into a vampire herself or kill her. What would this man/ vampire do. Though she had to say something or he would become suspicious. “You never know about these woods.” she said, lamely. What else was she going to say. ‘I know you’re a vampire because I hang out with a whole family of them and I know your going to try and kill me because your eye color proves that your drink human blood.’ she couldn’t exactly say that to him.
She knew that she was done for with his next sentence. “Um well I stumbled..” she said but couldn’t say the rest he and jumped up and smiling at her. What was she going to do now try and run. She knew that she would not make it out of the clearing before he caught up with her. No, she couldn’t do that. She just had to sit her and do nothing unless he tried to kill her, he had been rather calm lately.
She was very surprised that he did it, not that he actually leaned down and faked that he was going to bit her just that his movements caught her off guard. And being clumsy Bella she fell over. But not before he was able to scare the crap out of her by ’almost’ biting her. She found it rather annoying now that she lay on the ground. She was confused though not in the way you might think. She was confused as to why he didn’t bit her, she was used to vampires and James waited no time In haunting her down and trying to kill her. So all she could do was wait for his expiation as to why he did that. TAG;;;Ben.... CREDIT::: ME myself and I WORD COUNT;;; 321 NOTES;;; Sorry it’s short..
