GENERAL APPEARANCE: Quil is pretty much like any other shape-shifter. Extremely tall and muscular. Quil stands at Five foot Eleven inches, though when he first met Bella, he was much smaller, standing at Five foot three inches. Out of the pack, Quil is one of the smaller memebers, especially when next to his friends Jacob and Embry.
Because of Quil's ethnicity as a Native American, he is described as having dark skin, which is common amongst the residents of the Quileute Reservation. Quil is also described as having black hair which was often styled in a buzz cut. Though after he imprinted on Claire, he grew it out as Claire liked to hold onto it when he was giving her piggy back rides. Quil has an impish grin, which gives him a cheeky but innocent look. As well as being tall, Quil is also described as being burly. As a wolf, Quil is smaller than his pack mates and he has chocolate brown fur.
MOST LIKED FEATURE: His hands. Quil likes these most because he can fix things with his hands and it's also what Claire likes best about him.
MOST HATED FEATURE: His Shoe size. He hates them because he has small feet and can never find any shoes he likes. When he does, they tend to be torn in transformation.

GENERAL PERSONALITY: When Quil firsts meets Bella, Jacob does the majority of the talking giving people the impression that Quil is quiet and shy, but in fact, once he gets to know someone he hardly ever stops talking. Quil is one of the calmest members of the pack and is hardly ever angry unless it comes to vampires stepping on 'his' land. Though when Jacob imprints on Renesmee he becomes hostile and although he still insists they 'smell' he becomes friends with them. He's a calm, joking person who enjoys playing pranks on people and will always side with his friends. He's loyal which is shown when he chooses to remain by Jacob's side when he fights with Sam and forms his own pack.

GENERAL HISTORY: Quil James Ateara was born on the 11th February 1993 to Quil Quil Ateara Sr and Layla Ateara on a Snowy night. He was named after his father and grandfather who believed that all sons should be named after their father. Quil Ateara grew up as a single child and on his fourth birthday was hit by the devastation that his father had been killed in a car accident; the doctors had done everything that could to save him.
Quil was too young to understand what had happened and everyday asked where his dad was; the man he loved so much. It wasn't until he was ten years old that he actually understood what had happened and he put his past behind him.
At High School, Quil met two people who would become his best friends; Embry Call and Jacob Black. The three became as thick as thieves, getting into trouble together, passing through each year without a fight between them.
When Quil turned fifteen, something happened that changed his life forever. He became a shape-shifter along with Embry and Jacob. At the start, Quil is worried about the effect that being a wolf has had on Jacob and it is only sometime later that Quil reveals that he enjoys being in the pack the most because he was once again reunited with his friends; and he made some new ones too. Quil was one of the first three wolves of the pack to imprint, the others being Sam and Jared; Quil imprinted on Emily's two-year-old niece, Claire. It was thought to be scandalous at first by Bella but it was explained that there would be nothing sexual or Romantic about it and that Quil would be whatever Claire wanted him to be whether it be a brother, a protector or a lover. It's also explained that Claire would have a choice in the matter but why would she want anyone else when Quil would be the perfect person for her. When he's not with the pack or eating, he spends the majority of his time with Claire; though he doesn't see her as often when out of loyalty, Quil joins Jacob's pack.

James had been catching up with his past recently in the place where he had lost his only toy - or prey. He licked his lips and left a trail of venom behind which glistened lightly. The Cullen's thought they'd destroyed him, but how wrong they had been.
James had survived in the weakest state possible, crawling into the forest. He took down animals when possible, the taste horrid compared to the sweet taste of humans. He missed their blood as it would trickle down his throat, leaving a sickly sweet taste in the back of his throat. He'd gradually become stronger and was now back to his old self; revenge brewing inside of him.
James had heard a recent rumour that Alice was taking her sister back to Biloxi. Back to the place where James had first taken her. The place where he had used her to get to Alice. He was going to do it again, but not just Savan. James was going to get his revenge whether it killed him or not. He felt different somehow, but he didn't know exactly how.
James was at his lookout post outside the Brandon Household. He was hidden but he could smell the sweet blood of Savan; it was just as Alice's had been back then. He still remembered how much he had wished to sink his teeth into her flesh and drain her body of the crimson liquid that flowed through it. A smirk crowned James' lips as he saw the sister's pull up. His plan was in action and it wasn't too long before he would execute it.
