Rosalie quietly hummed to herself as she drove her deep red M3 down the long bending road to the house, Bags in hand and everywhere else. Rose had left the house early becuase she had decided to treat herself to an all day shopping spree being as it was such a cloudy day out, well, now, night. The sun was just beginning to set, though it was hard to tell behind all the clouds. She smoothly stopped the car infront of the rather large garage, then she clicked a button and the garage door began to slide open. She waited until there was just enough room, then quickly drove in, stoping in just enough time that she didn't hit anything. She pushed the button and her top started to come down and the windpws rolled up so the car was covered. She reached over to the passenger seat and grabed at least five bags of clothes and shoes that she had bought.
Rose shut the door softly, careful not to scratch the paint like she had did the last time she went shopping. That was an experience she didn't need again. Rose unlocked the garage door and walked into the house. "Esme? Alice? Jazz?" Rosalie called out, her voice echoing in the rather large living room. She got no reply but her own voice. Rosalie walked into the dinning room and set her bags, keys and her hat on the table before walking to the counter where a note signed by Esme was sitting.
Rose, Me, Carlisle, Edward and the rest of the family have all decided to make a suprise trip to the clearing and play a game of ball, being as theres a storm comming. Now, you know it's less than a minute of running. Join us if you like, but theres no pressure at all sweetie.
Esme
Rose placed the note back on the counter and walking towards the stairs, picking up all of her items that she had bought on the way. She was in no rush, so she decided just to walk up the stairs looking around. She never truly realized how big this place was before. Must be because she's the only one in it now. She got to her and Emmets room and opened the door, placing her nags on the bed. She sorted through them, exaimining each one of them, beofre carefully folding them and placing them in her overly-sized closet. After hanging all of the clothes, she folded the designer bags up and placed them in the closet as well. She walked back down the stairs and layed on the couch, just staring at the roof.

Jasper Whitlock Hale , "You held out your hand, and I took it without stopping to make sense of what I was doing. For the first time in almost a century, I felt hope."
The day was dismal, although that was exactly how he had always liked his days. At least for the last century and a half, give or take a few years. Jasper could hear the storm brewing outside, although he didn't need to hear it to know what would be happening. Alice had told all of them earlier in the day that there was a storm coming, and the decision had been made only within the last twenty minutes to play baseball tonight. While Esme and Edward had gone ahead, Jasper had waited patiently at the house. Alice was with Bella, or at least she had been earlier in the day, doing 'girl things'. It never failed to bother him when he was detached from Alice for an extended period of time, although he had to admit to himself that he was getting better. Neither Alice nor Bella wanted him around during their girly chats, a fact which had somewhat surprised him. To put things plainly, as he had for Alice, Jasper had never taken Bella to be a 'girly girl', and thus was quite surprised with all the rigors she was letting Alice put her through. The shopping trips where nothing was bought, and the random times when Alice decided to attempt to style hair and apply makeup....perhaps it was in his best interest that he was not with them.
He sat quietly in the room that he and Alice shared, flipping through the pages of a book on the Civil war. Not like he needed to read what was said about it. Hell, he had been at this battle. He had commanded a brigade of Confederate soldiers, and one passage even included mention of a 'Major Whitlock'. Jasper smiled to himself as he thumbed through the pages, the book worn due to the many times he had looked through it. The noise downstairs was loud enough that even a human would have been able to hear it, and thus to Jasper it sounded as if the thunderstorm had decided to make its presence known inside their home. Quickly enough however, he had formed a guess as to the source of the noise. Rosalie had gone out alone this morning, refusing to take Emmett with her. That could only mean one thing: shopping. It was funny really, that of all the things that they could have in common with the humans, Jasper's first thought was that males, no matter the species, despised shopping. Rising from the bed, Jasper walked crept down the stairs. There was always the chance that it was Alice returning, and even perhaps bringing Bella along with her, and the possibility was more than enough to make him find out for sure.
As he reached the bottom of the stairs, his initial suspicions were confirmed. Rosalie was laying on the couch, her eyes strangely focused on the ceiling above. Casually glancing upward as he walked toward her, Jasper offered a smile as he took a seat on the end of the couch. He would have never dared to do this normally, although he knew for sure that Esme was in the clearing, waiting to see who all would play. Even with this thought in mind, he quickly glanced around, more a force of habit than out of actually looking for her, just to make sure that he wasn't about to catch an ear full. Continuing to stare upward at the ceiling, Jasper looked for anything out of the ordinary, anything that might lead to Rose staring. He allowed his thoughts to wander, hoping to pick up some sort of emotion from her, something to tell him what she was doing. Yet surprisingly, she seemed carefree, no emotion significantly sticking out enough to really make an impression. Damn...guess I'll have to do this the old fashioned way... His tone soft, Jasper finally spoke, his eyes never leaving the ceiling. "Finding anything interesting up there Rose? I can't seem to figure out for the life of me what's gotten you so throughly entranced." His words had been deliberate, a joke that he hoped his sister would get. If not, then perhaps he would just retreat back to his room, a quiet place where he could eagerly anticipate Alice's return.

Why exactly had she picked the option of laying down and just staring at the lifeless ceiling? Oh yeah, because there was nothing else to do. She had already tried on her new clothes at the store, trying to take up the whole days time, at least until a thunderstorm hit or it starting raining, or something. But that just shows that she shouldn't have, because she basically missed the thunderstorm, but nothing else was happening, either. Rose began to tap her fingers impatiently, hoping that soon she would either hear the door open, or a car driving into the garage, but she still heard nothing. Rose sighed, she really didn't know how Emmett managed to stay home all day when Rose and Alice went shopping. It was just plain boring. Now she knew why every time they came home either something was missing, fixed up with super glue, or just plain broken.
Rose heard someone walking down the stairs, obviously she wasn't the only one that didn't go out with the rest of the family, that was a relief. She obviously knew it wasn't Alice, Emmett, or Edward because they could never resist a game of ball when a thunderstorm hit the clearing. But, how did she miss that someone else did go? She was sure she would have heard them, but she was just probably to busy putting her close away to listen, because of the note that Esme had written her. Rose looked over, not really bothering to lift her head up off the couch. Rose moved her feet some, even though she wasn't tall enough to touch both ends of the couch, when she saw Jasper sat down. Rose decided just to sit up, and then looked at him as she swung her feet to the floor. "Trust me, theres nothing interesting up there. It's just so....white, and clean. I don't think Esme would ever allow anything else..." Rose smiled, looking at the T.V not bothering to turn it on.
