Four people have been experiencing some pretty strange ordeals. One of them has been getting glimpses of a frightening future, another has the good fortune of being forgotten, a clean slate. Another may or may not have convinced a classmate to plummet to his death, and the third has been hallucinating and making the people around him, fear him... Creepy, right? What if these were not the only humans that possessed these strange and cryptic abilities? What if there are more of them? ‘Special’ humans, perhaps? Well, guess what! There are.
Not only are humans with special abilities out there, but there are other humans out there, a select few, they are the shape shifters. They appear to be human in one moment and animal in the next, they have the ability to shape shift into an animal, why? Because of their heritage and ancestry... Shape shifters are becoming more abundant than they’ve ever been. It started with the oldest people of our time, being unable to protect themselves against the ‘cold ones’. Men have usually been the possessors of this gift; however, females have been ‘changing’ as well. They were given this gift to protect humans and themselves and their fellow shifters out of harms way. However, a group of these marvelous beings have gone rogue, turning against their kind, against the humans and lying down with the bloodsuckers, a regal and royal bunch called the Volturi.
The Volturi are now on the hunt, insisting that Isabella Swan be changed as she knows too much has become tiresome and they are now ready to get the job done themselves, however, Isabella Swan, if caught in their clutches may not be able to see the light of another day. The rogue shifters, have been recruited into joining this powerful bunch, and have become something like messengers for the Volturi. Now they are on a quest to seek out and find these special humans, to find Isabella Swan, to bring glory to the Volturi name. These hawk shifters are on the horizon, bringing devastation and possibly war.
