Yes, The title is supposed to say that.

I'm Tyler, and I've been writing for nearly eleven years now. My style has continually improved over the years, and for the last few months I have found nothing really worth writing.

That however, was changed when I recently read Twilight.

I'll admit that I'd had my doubts about the series (as I think most males have, truth be told), but after some pushing from my girlfriend and a few other female friends, I eventually picked it up. Mostly out of boredom, but that is beside the point. I finished the book in only two hours, and it got me hooked. I knew I wanted to start writing again, and Twilight seemed like a natural thing to progress too. After all, I was one of the 'harry potter' writers for god... far too long.

I'm nineteen, going on twenty in july. I am presently employed at Burger King, where I have only worked for three weeks, yet have already earned employee of the month honors.. Yes, Odd, I know. I've also already begun being called a back line supervisor, which I find amusing, as I'm constantly being put in charge of people who have worked there for years.

I have been an admin on various sites, and in my nearly eleven years of writing there was only one site where I never rose to at least global moderator status. That site was deleted by the admin only a few weeks after creation, so I suppose I shouldn't even count it. I have helped to successfully run various sites from Harry Potter to Stargate, with most of them having at least a year long run. I hope that this site does just as well, with an even longer run.

Yes, as stated previously I am a Twilight newbie. I'm still in the process of reading the entire series, but don't let that dissuade you. I have been doing research all morning, and I believe I have pinpointed alot of things about Jasper that will allow me to portray him correctly.

Feel free to say hello anytime you want, although be advised my laptop is typically left on to run virus scans and such while I am working.

EDIT: So I didn't say anything before, as she wasn't on the site, but I have the most AMAZING girlfriend. She's basically my world. It's probably because of her that I enjoyed twilight so much. I love her more than anything else, and she better know that

Great to have you here, i loved your Jasper Application, so all your research was well worth it.

I was sceptical at first about Twilight, i never follow crazes (like Harry Potter i read after all of them were out and my mother wouldn't stop hassling me to read them, then i ran out of stuff to read so read them.) But Slayer/Esme threatened me and told me i had to read Twilight and i was hooked.
However i don't meet many lads who have read it and enjoyed it. So its nice to have one (actually i think we have a couple) on here.

Hmm. What would you guys do to me if I told you I don't actually like the series much? I think the characters are horribly underdeveloped, which is why I roleplay Twilight - to give them some seriously needed depth. I think everyone thinks I really like the series. Not really. I just like some of the characters. Harry Potter is SO MUCH BETTER. There are some serious characters there.

That being said, hey. We will have some awesome threadage I'm sure...

I can't believe anyone would ever say they have "nothing worth writing". What about normal, standard original stuff? I'm working on an outline for a story right now, but I think I'm going to save writing the story itself for NaNoWriMo. Otherwise it will take me FOREVER.

As long as we don't get attacked by LITTLESQUIRRELS I think we'll do awesome.

Yes, I don't think my girlfriend ever thought i'd read it. I think I heard gay jokes for a good ten minutes because I was talking too her about it so much

I don't mind people adding me on msn, I never have anyone to talk too so it works out just fine for me

Oh, and as far as the nothing worth writing comment. I had a falling out with a friend who i used to write with, and a majority of the writers from back in the day have stopped. Things have changed dramatically over the last few years. God, I remember when people started using post templates. THAT threw me for a loop. But yeah, I've done everything from Prep Schools to Harry Potter to you name it. I've even written professionally a little, and had a couple short stories published (under a fake name, o'course). Until I read the book, my muse had been unsatisfyingly deceased

UPDATE:

So i've finished New Moon, and am presently nearing the end of Eclipse.

I've also read excerpts from Midnight Sun. They've helped alot with understanding Jasper.


I WANTED to have the entire series complete by last weekend, but circumstances didn't particularly allow it. I've been muchos sick (so bad I tried to take off work, even if it didn't work out as well as I planned) plus i've worked excessive hours. That, plus being worried (as much as she tells me not too) about my girlfriend who is also sick, has occupied my mind lately. I'm getting there though

haha! yeah i was like steph, i'm not big on crazes, but when i started reading it wasnt really crazed just yet.
Nice to meet you (: i don't know many boys that have actually read twilight. its about time they all did.
The ironic thing is, you received the gay comments. my gay bestfriend was like "Omg no, im never reading twilight its soooo gay!! - laughs at the ironicy? (is that a word) of the comment.
